Service Description

All our life experiences have an impact on us, positive and negative, these experiences are stored in the body at cellular level, when we allow ourselves to be creative in a safe environment and with support it allows the cellular memory to be activated. The spontaneous painting process brings out messages of wisdom in the artwork which we maybe otherwise be unable to access. What will we be doing? Painting to music, either one to one or in a small, safe group.   Who’s it for? It’s for everyone! You don’t have to have any art experience or be good at art.   How will it benefit you? •  Being in the present. It’s known that if we are completely in the present moment we are at peace, not worrying about the past or the future. This technique supports that. •  Release of stress •  Exploring choices and decision making •  Expression of grief and loss •  Validating emotions •  Personal expression •  Processing of any unfinished emotional business •  It’s fun! It’s important to have an outlet of pure play. •  Healing the old art classes! Many of us will have had an atmosphere of judgment and competition in our school art classes spontaneous art sets a new precedent of what it means to create art. This activity can also be done over Zoom with your own materials. You can use paints, or coloured pencils which are just as effective.
