CARING FOR YOUR JEWELLERY

Sterling silver jewellery can tarnish over time with wear, this occurs naturally. Please see the following guidelines for taking care to protect your jewellery.

Store your jewellery in a cool, dry location.

Keep jewellery away from extreme temperatures, humidity and direct sunlight. Store each piece separately to prevent scratching.

Sterling Silver can become damaged by chemicals and cosmetic substances such as perfume, so always wear your jewellery after you’ve sprayed your perfume.

We recommend removal of jewellery before swimming, sleeping, showering and undertaking any manual or domestic work to keep it shiny for longer.

To avoid tarnishing, we recommend the use of a silver polishing cloth to clean any residue and to bring back shine. For more advanced tarnishing, use warm, soapy water, rinse and gently polish with a soft cloth.

Jewellery can become damaged by chemical and cosmetic substances such as moisturisers, household cleaning products, hairspray and deodorant. Try to stop your silver jewellery from coming into contact with these products where you can.
